| A Mobile Application for Determining Preferences According to Additives to Purchase Food Products
In nowadays conditions, health problems increased too much. Living healty, longly and under proper conditions and also orientation of society in this purpose became valuable subjects. It is a reality that people are paying attention on differencing aliments as 'harmful' or 'unhealty' according to their personal researches, media or a priori.
There are many researches and studies on harmful affects of the additives in products which provides durability, long shelf life, sweetener, better view and genetic operations.
This thesis is composed by the essential theorical parts and presentation of mobile application.
The subjects that will be searched and examined in the scope of this thesis are ready-packaged foods, their ingredients, additives and their utilization rates.
Moreover there will be studies about orientation of society to make the right choices for healty nutrition.
Finally a short message(SMS) and mutimedia message(MMS) supported mobile application, by which products can be queried according to their ingredients, will be designed and a pilote study will be presented. By this application users will send the name of an additive of a product by a short message or send the image of the product’s barcode by multimedya message. Afterwards they will receive a short message response including a detailed information about that additive.
