Classroom Practices at the European Lyceum
The European Lyceum is treated apart from other state funded schools for two reasons, first, it lust began to receive stale funds in fall 1999. relying only on private funds before that. Second, it has a relationship with the World Bank that provides it with resources not
available in many schools. Based on classroom observations conducted by the investigator and also by the two interpret! observers, teaching practices in the school are very progressive in comparison with other state-funded schools.
