Fundamentals of geographic information systems (GIS). Basic cartographic principles, general geography concepts and spatial analysis, and hardware and software elements of GIS. Lab exercises in various applications of GIS technology to engineering, political science, health, environmental science, business, government and criminal justice. GIS terminology, raster and vector data structures, data sources and accuracy, methods of data acquisition, conversion, input, and working with spatial databases. PMCP 4921C - Issues-Contemporary Leadership
