1127 POW: 1944? use of 1/- Air Mail Lettersheet (light toning etc) from German officer in Dhurringle Camp, with censor cachet & "Approved for Transmission by Camp Commandant Dhurr…" cachet, plus censor tape & cachet on reverse. Sent by a Senior Lieutenant from the German Raider "Kormoran" that sank HMAS Sydney II. This camp (actually a mansion house) only housed about 50 German officers & their batmen, so mail from here would be very scarce.
