A previous owner had paid $5000 (!!!) for it in 1969, & a long 1969 letter is enclosed from a Singapore dealer to the buyer claiming that it is postally used & explaining how it was used, & with long story about provenance & rarity of the stamp etc (but we do not make any claims ourselves about the cancel). SG 128 unpriced for U, cat £22,000 for M. In any case the most attractive cancelled example we have ever seen. (P) $800 $1200
