2- COMFORT: Sargosse: 3 zones of temperature and humidity by apartment: Loggia (in order to evaluate the thermal gain), one in the life room and one in a bedroom.
Lyon: identification of some critical apartments. Air velocity? Have to be limited to the main comfort parameters
Inhabitants: to explain them that is not in order to control their behaviour, and so on, … Informative meeting to explain, …
Lyon: air temperature and humidity record for some apartments. Air velocity?
Level of temperature < 28°C not more than 40 hours per year?
To early for Saragosse to evaluate the thermal comfort. More and more pb about active cooling. Spain climate is quite hot and in many areas, this level is over. What is sure is that the comfort level will be better in these buildings than in other of Saragosse area.
In Lyon, this level was a constraint for the program. What will be interesting is to confront numerical investigations and experiments. Some hypothesis have been formulated for simulations (inhabitants behaviour, …). One important think that will be useful is to have measurements without inhabitants in order to have a “zero” (reference) point for the apartments (with different scenarii: heating systems, blinds opened or closed). Calibration of these modelling tools is important and this step should be done in Lyon and in Saragosse. Even without heating systems we can obtain a kind of energy signature of the apartments.
The thermal comfort is a key point in order to avoid further “bad” air conditioning systems. In Saragosse it has been already noticed for some apartments. It will be a critical point for Lyon too. How can we manage to avoid inhabitants to buy such systems? Or to control the integration of cooling systems.
