c) Classrooms with ICT factility – Class is provided with LCD and OHP facilities.


d). Laboratories – We have separate laboratories for M.Sc. and M.Phil Chemistry Classes with advanced equipments like Photoreactor, UV Spectrophotometer, Mechanical Shaker, Magnetic Stirrer, Constant Temperature water bath, Sonicator bath, Microwave oven, Vaccum suction pump, Auto-titrator and four system of personal computers with a separate computer lab.

Teaching methods adopted to improve student learning




Generally, the lecture method is followed using black board. In addition, seminar and group discussion are also adopted. Further, power point presentation with LCD is also used on special occasions. Students are also advised to make use of the internet to have exposure to the latest developments in the subject for the completion of their group projects.
