(summary) This article explores the philosophy of mugam which is one the fundamental monument of Azerbaijani musical art. The author tries to substantiate the identity of the Koran and mugam in terms of aesthetics. According to him the philosophy of mugam directs the human being to the cognition of the being properly and to the real peace by melting in Allah. The author also explores the concept of zikr and its transformative power and aims to explain the structure of mugam and its philosophical meaning.
