  1. Qualifications :

  • A doctor's degree in the inviting field

  • Applicants with native-like proficiency in English for teaching and research

  • Non-Korean Nationality (While ethnic Koreans can apply, dual nationality is not accepted)

  • Representative publications over 200% (in recent three years from 05-01-2013 to 04-30-2016)

  • Academic papers that are identified with ISSN numbers

    • Classify among FA(first author), co-first author, CA(corresponding author), co-corresponding author, and co

    • Only receive SCI level(SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, SCIE), and KCI(Korea Citation Index) registered papers

  • The 4th selection(interview) : June 17, 2016

  • Announcement for final successful candidates : July 1

  • Start of employment : In the middle of August




  1. Salary & Benefits:

  • Annual salary: Starting from around KRW 50,000,000(depending on applicants’ careers)

  • Performance-related pay

  • Subsidized public pension premiums and national health insurance

  • Supplemental health insurance for disability and hospitalization

  • Research fund that motivates you to further your study on the first year employed

  • Overseas travels expenses (1 Round-trip air tickets of economic class level and living expenses for one day or two days) can be reimbursed to three nominees within 2.5 million Korean won.(We ask three nominees to submit a receipt of air tickets and a copy of your passport.)

5. Personal Medical Assessment

All successful candidates must take a comprehensive medical exam (including an HIV and TBPE drug test**, etc) in accordance with the requirements of the Korea Immigration Service. If the results show that the applicant is unfit to study and live overseas more than 3 years, he/she may be disqualified.

**The TBPE (tetrabromophenolphthalein ethyl ester) drug tests are for evaluating past usage of stimulant drugs.
