Equivalent means the outcomes of old and new units are equivalent.
Note: All units of competency have been aligned to the Standards for Training Packages, including the Unit of Competency template and the Assessment Requirements template.
To do this, some modifications were required to units of competency in the AVI08 Aviation Training Package Release 5.0, such as rewording the Application of the unit, updating terminology, correcting grammar and, in some cases rewording text. Throughout this process the intent of each unit has remained the same.
