This paper discusses approaches and principles for assessing the information security
of telecommunication networks. Methods for quantitative assessment of information
security risks are given. Modern methodological approaches
to the quantitative
protection of information are presented. The analysis
of quantitative methods for
assessing information security risks has been carried out.
