THE EPOS “THE BOOK OF DEDE GORGUD” IN THE NATIONAL LEADER
HAYDAR ALIYEV’S OPINION SYSTEM
Summary
The national leader Heydar Aliyev always paid a great attention to the Azerbaijan literature, art and generally to the development of literature. That is why his opinions about the monument “The Book of Dede Gorgud” is very important. He promoted great works in propaganda of the monument in the world, including making it famous as the Oghuz-Azerbaijan monument in the whole world. The national leader had very precious thoughts about the monument. Those opinions opened the new perspectives for the researchers in the field of investigation. The investigation shows that the national leader Haydar Aliyev’s thoughts about the epos “The Book of Dede Gorgud” connect the state and state-study philosophy. As a wise politician he understood the role of “The Book of Dede Gorgud” or the other cultural monuments and works of art in the state formation very deeply. That is why he agitated the Azerbaijani people from the old to the youth to read and understand the epos “The Book of Dede Gorgud”. According to the national leader’s opinion to understand the source of our national creature “The Book of Dede Gorgud”, in fact, is to understand his own national identity.
