The character Koroglu in Islam Sadig’s poetry
Abstract
It had written much about bravery and heroism of “Koroglu” s heroes in modern Azerbaijan poetry. The majority of these poems’s protogonist is Koroglu himself. Nevertheless, ther are enough poems written about grey-eyed Nigar, Eyvaz, Dali Hasan, Damirchioghlu and others, whose heroism have been praised. Since the beginning of the independence of Azerbaijan the increasing appeal for the characters of Koroglu has been seen.
In the article, the role of Koroglu character in poetry of Azerbaijan Islam Sadig is mentioned.
