THE WRITTEN SOURCES OF WESTERN AZERBAIJAN FOLKLORE
SUMMARY
The article dedicates to the written sources problems of Western Azerbaijan (present Armenia) folklore, some ancient inscriptions, historical sources including the work of “The book of Diyarbakriyya” by Abubakr Tehrani are involved to the investigation. The folklore texts at the same sources are compared with the folklore texts collected from Western Azerbaijan, it is cleared that Azerbaijani Turks had lived at the same area since ancient times.
