THE SUCCESSFUL PUBLICATION OF AZERBAIYCANI EXPLORATING AND STUDYING SOCIETY: HANAFI ZEYNALLI “AZERBAIJANI PROVERBS AND SAYINGS”
Summary
The necessity of learning material and cultural monuments was caused to the creation of Azerbaijani Explorating and Studying Society. Important works were done in the field of collecting, studying and publishing of folklore since establishment of the society. One of the successful publications of society is the book of “Azerbaijan proverbs” which was collected and published by Hanafi Zeynallı. This book whish was compiled on the basis of certain scientific principles for the first time and today it takes a position in the history of Azerbaijani folklore study.
