SOME DIRECTIONS OF EAST-WEST FOLKLORE RELATIONS
Summary
Folk mentality doesn’t carry limitation, at the same time national selfishness. National selfishness reflecting the thought of separate individuals and social-political groups doesn’t go in together with the width views in folklore. The similarity of folk mentality in far away places of the world reveals the general consistencies, common image, motive and plots of cultural sphere named folklore. International folklore plots spreading in the earth reminds us repeatedly that dividing the world into different sides and poles is conventional.
