SUMMARY
This article is about the reconstruction works held in the National Library at first period according to the demands of informed society, the automation of library processes and the offering the Internet use to the readers at the end of the XX century and beginning of the XXI century. Also here is spoken about the works made in the directions of the total reconstruction of the library activities in the years of independence, expansion of library’s international relations and international scale ceremonies held in the library.
