Administrative Department of The President of the REPUBLIC OF Azerbaijan Presidential Library M.AHMADOV SUMMARY The Presidential Library was established in 2003 on the initiative of the Azerbaijan National leader - Heydar Aliyev on the basis of two oldest libraries of Baku City - Central City Library (former Library named after Lenin) and the Library of General Service Section of the Azerbaijan Republic President’s Administration (former Library of the Political Education House).
Main tasks of the Library is to accommodate the staff of the Executive Office as well as the President’s Administrative Department, central and local executive bodies with library-bibliographic and informational services, books, periodicals and other types of documents available in the library stock.
