Abstract: Since Germany is one of the biggest economic powers in the world, the direction of its foreign policy is very important for the international politics. Abusing its power repeatedly throughout its history for expansionist policies increases the importance of this foreign policy orientation. In this article, discussions on whether Germany, which has escaped its last restriction on his sovereignty with the reunion in 1990, will return again to power politics (Machtpolitik) or not will be analyzed.
