Introduction
Nowadays learning English is becoming a crucial part of our lives.
Reading,listening,writing and speaking are as inseparable aspects of the language
have a great influence on successful learning but they are still overlooked by a large
number of teachers, who rather pay attention to teaching grammar as they feel more
certain about them.
The novelty of the work: It is very difficult for learners to achieve improving
integrated skills that sounds like a native speaker's. Discussions of the integrated
skills of English as an international language have emphasized the fact that native-
like speach is also unnecessary for many learners, and may indeed not be wanted. It
has been suggested that intelligibility is a more appropriate objective than
conformity to any pre-existing model.
In this graduation paper we tried to overview methodological literatures and
articles dedicated to different ways of teaching the integration of the four skills of
the English language in secondary schools.
The actuality of the work is in considerable importance of correct the
integration of the four skills of the English language of the learners. The integration
of the four skills is an aspect of verbal communication which makes it more effective
and attractive. Therefore, the significance of these four skills become highly
considerable in the process of verbal communication. Methods and techniques of
improving the integration of the four skills play an important role while cooperation
with secondary school learners.
The aim of the research is to analyze and identify different ways of improving
the integration of the four skills in secondary schools.
The objectives of the research are:
1) To expose the importance of the integration of the four skills while learning
a foreign language in Modern English;
2) To research fundamental problems of of improving the integration of the
four skills in secondary school;
3) To give definition to secondary school students from the psychological
point of view;
4) To examine main approaches in teaching of the integration of the four skills
; to show some activities when improving the integration of the four skills;
5) To analyze the integration of grammar with reading,listening,writing and
speaking.
