These are the Rules and Regulations under which Cambridge English exams are provided at Edu Action
Exams Centre in Uzbekistan. All candidates who register with Edu-Action
Exams Centre for Cambridge
Assessment English. Further information about Cambridge
English exams can be found
at cambridgeenglish.org and examscambridge.uz. Anyone who requires additional
information should
contact with Edu-Action Exams Centre.
All candidates must read the information contained in the relevant Notice to Candidates and the current
Summary Regulations for Candidates at the time of registration.

Definitions:

Cambridge Assessment English: an exam board and part of Cambridge Assessment.
Experts in
English language assessment, responsible for creating, distributing and marking Cambridge English
exams.

Edu Action Exams Centre: a Cambridge Assessment English Authorized Centre.

Centre Exams Manager: the main point of contact at a Centre.

Candidate: someone who has registered with a Centre to take an exam.

TKT is a series of modular teaching qualifications which test your knowledge in specific areas of English
language teaching. TKT is taken as a series of multiple-choice tests. There are five modules that can be
taken in any order or combination:

A test of knowledge about the principles and practice of English language teaching.

Module 1 – Background to language learning and teaching This module tests candidates’
knowledge of terms and concepts common in English language teaching. It also focuses on the
factors underpinning the learning of English and knowledge of the
range and functions of the
choices teachers have at their disposal to cater for these learning factors.

Module 2 – Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching. This
module focuses on
what teachers consider and do while planning their teaching. It also considers the linguistic
and methodological reference resources that are available to guide
teachers in their lesson
planning.
