5.1.1 Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence (MODROBS) The main objective of the Scheme of Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence is to provide financial support to institutions to equip their laboratories with modern equipment/infrastructure facilities, keeping in view rapid advancements in technology. Some of the institutions were also provided funds for replacement of obsolete equipment with modern, state-of-the-art equipment to ensure quality of educational process.
