Circular No 48 for registration of insurance brokers

Director General:
The Director General of the Insurance Authority
Company:	Any insurance company ( or takaful insurance company) incorporated in the State and foreign insurance company (or foreign takaful insurance company) licensed to carry out insurance activities in the State either through a branch, or through an insurance agent.
Insurance Broker:	The person who independently intermediates in insurance operations between the applicant of the insurance and the insurance company in return for a commission from the insuring company
Client:	The applicant of the insurance or the insured
