I didn't leave Germany for a long time and finally decided to head stateside about 7 years ago. Since then, I have made several trips back to my old stomping grounds. Germany has changed a lot and the Americans have pretty much left the Frankfurt area. The PX/Commissary complex now houses Polizei Headquarters, believe it or not. The Abrams complex is being used for Frankfurt university and I'm not sure about FAHS. Various housing areas have been turned over to the Germans. The list goes on and on. On a lighter note, Gruneburg and B-Bank are still there and as beautiful as ever. I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me from the '79-80 school year. Frankfurt Uber Alles!
