Wish I could go back and live the rest of my life in Germany. Thats how much I loved this place. My first tour in 69 I was working out of the IG Farben building as a printer and lived at Gibbs Barracks. My second tour in 74 I was working out of the engineer building just behind the IG Farben building as a printer and illustrator. Was also stationed outside of Heidelburg in Schwetzingen at Thompkins barracks printing maps in a topo unit. ok, so we all remember the parks, does anyone else remember passing out at the Stones concert? It was so hot in the Festhalle that Mick Jagger was throwing buckets of water on us.
