The National Council decides by a majority of votes cast by those members present.
*As amended by the Constitutional Act Amending Articles 90, 97, and 99 of the
Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia, which was adopted on 24 May 2013 and
entered into force on 31 May 2013 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No.
47/13).
The original text of Article 99 read as follows:
“The National Council may pass decisions if a majority of members are present at the
session.
The National Council decides by a majority of votes cast by those members present.
Decisions requiring the calling of a referendum shall be adopted by the National
Council by a majority vote of all members.
”
