2.3 Danil et al. (2007) [9] Pagerank is a method to rank Web pages considering hyper-link structure of the Web. Pagerank is an efficient and simple method to rank Web pages and it generates an approximation of the ranking but comparatively the random surfer model uses just uniform distributions for all situations happening during the surf process. This shows that the random surfer has no preferences. Personalized Pagerank was designed to solve the problem but it is still restricted because it assumes non-uniform preferences and randomly moves to different pages on the Web and do not give importance to outgoing hyper-links. Considering the limitations and restrictions of Pagerank and Personalized Pagerank Weighted Pagerank is proposed where we give weight to hyper-links according to any possible behavior of a user.
