Abstract
Ranking is the process in which teams are sorted by its winning weightage. In many sports, rankings are produced according to the number of victories that one team or individual has against other. Ratings are then derived by sorting each team's ratings and assigning an ordinal rank to each team starting with the highest rated team earning the #1 rank. The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the international governing body for cricket. For ranking they add one point to a team for winning a match, after a series between two teams; add a half-point to both teams for drawing a match. Add a bonus point to the team that won the series; add a half-point to each team if the series ended in a draw. Existing methods simply count ratio of win and loss by considering that result of one day, test matches and T20.And the team that wins more matches it given high rank. This project aim as considering both point system and graph base weightage of teams.
