3. 1 Promotion of Research

3.1.1 Research center

An Institutional Level Bio-tech Hub has been set up in the college with financial assistance from the Department of Bio-Technology, Govt. of India where research facilities to registered Ph.D. scholars and hands-on- training to the students have been provided. The Hub is equipped with PCR, Spectrophotometer, Cryostat microtome, Rotary evaporator, Soxhlet apparatus, Refrigerated centrifuge, Electrophoresis, Laminar Air Flow, Autoclave, Hot air oven, different types of Microscope, BOD Incubator, Deep freeze (up to -20⁰c), etc. In addition to this all the departmental laboratories of science subjects have been improved with necessary equipment under the Star College Scheme of DBT, Govt. of India.
