Service
My goal is to raise the standard of our graduate program in Computer Science (CS) and streamline the Cybersecurity track to meet the requirements of NSA/DHS for Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity. This goal has been achieved and FSU (CS) is currently a designated NSA/DHS Center of Academic Excellence in IA Education (CAE-IAE) and a designated NSA/DHS Center of Academic Excellence in Research (CAE-R), both extended to 2021.
This has made it possible for the CS Department to get more than 70 MS scholarships for Cybersecurity (over $8M in NSF Scholarship for Service funding).
