1. Invited Lecture Series

   2004	Visiting Professor, Indonesia ASEAN Association of Radiology The AAR nominated me in 2003 to be the visiting professor in Diagnostic Radiology to Indonesia. I visited Jakarta and Semarang in Java, and gave 2 two-day courses related to imaging of the breast and the musculoskeletal system
   2004	Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshop College of Radiologists, Sri Lanka I ran a one-day workshop including several lectures and hands-on scanning in musculoskeletal ultrasound for the College of Radiologists in Sri Lanka
   1992	General Electric Luminary Visitor, China General Electric Asia-Pacific I gave lectures on MRI at the GE CT & MR End-User Meeting in Qingdao, and a site visit to the MR unit at Suzhou, where I gave several lectures and provided hands-on guidance for advanced MRI training.
   1990	MRI Lectures Hong Kong Sanatorium Hospital A series of lectures on Magnetic Resonance Imaging given to the technologists, radiologists and honorary physicians at the Hong Kong Sanatorium Hospital. I was the sole speaker and presenter. Topics included: MRI physics, MRI special techniques, haemorrhage and contrast media, brain MRI, spine MRI, and musculoskeletal MRI. In addition I developed new protocols for their MRI scanner.

3. Postgraduate Teaching

2009–	PhD Co-Supervisor: Megan Cromer Discipline of Health Sciences, University of Sydney Ms. Cromer is studying the MRI characteristics of abnormal and normal articular cartilage in the knee of clinical and experimental subjects
2008–	New Curriculum for Diagnostic Radiology Training Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists I am leading the development and implementation of a new syllabus and curriculum for professional training in Diagnostic Radiology for Australia and New Zealand. This project commenced in 2005 under the leadership of Prof. J. Slavotinek, the current Chief Censor of the RANZCR, and was launched in 2010.
2005-2008	New Curriculum for Diagnostic Radiology Training Specialist Training Committee in Diagnostic Radiology & Education Board, College of Radiologists Singapore I planned and developed a revised framework for a 5 year seamless training programme in Diagnostic Radiology training for Singapore hospitals, in conjunction with the Specialist Training Committee for Diagnostic Radiology This incorporated a new course in Basics of Radiology in the first year of training, a revised method of progress competency assessment, a new Professional Development course in the fourth year of training, and integration of the Master of Medicine for Radiology as a research project in the 4^th and 5^th years of training.

Thesis: “3D nonrigid registration of dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging of the breast”, completed 2003 Co-supervisor: A/Prof Ong Sim Heng, Electrical Engineering NUS Successfully completed his project & thesis for his Masters degree, and has gone to a prestigious US university for his PhD in 2005.
2002-2004	Internal Examiner and Thesis Adviser Electrical Engineering, National University of Singapore I helped to evaluate the undergraduate work of two Electrical Engineering students for 3D modeling of human imaging data: One student produced a method of unfolding and flattening a 3D model of the colon from axial CT colonographic images. Tan Ek Tsoon developed a method of efficient 3D rigid and nonrigid registration for dynamically acquired breast MRI volumetric image registration.
2001-2008	Teaching & Examining, FRCR 2B Preparation Course Singapore Radiological Society and National University of Singapore This annual course to prepare candidates for the examinations has been held for the at Singapore General Hospital, National University of Singapore and more recently, National University Hospital. I have been an invited lecturer and examiner for this series of courses every year.
2000-2008	Curriculum and Framework for FRCR 2B Examination Preparation Course Specialist Training Committee in Diagnostic Radiology, Singapore This course was developed at my instigation in Singapore to help prepare candidates better for the final FRCR 2B viva voce and written case examinations. It consists of a rotational series of mock exam-condition written film quiz and viva voce tutorials for about 4 months prior to the examinations. The pass rate for this component of the exam has increased significantly since its introduction. For this course, I developed the framework, guidelines for teachers, the documentation and guide to trainees, and I continue to coordinate and monitor every 6 months.
2000-2008	Teaching Sessions, FRCR 2B Course in Diagnostic Radiology Specialist Training Committee in Diagnostic Radiology, Singapore I teach at least once for each cycle of this course which I also coordinate. This course is organized once very 6 month posting cycle for professional Radiology trainees
2000-2007	Module Leader, Womens’ Imaging & Urogenital Imaging, FRCR 2A Course in Diagnostic Radiology Specialist Training Committee in Diagnostic Radiology, Singapore I designed and continue to coordinate this module of lectures to teach trainees about the requisites for the modular component of the FRCR 2A written examination.

1990-1997	Final FRANZCR 2B Exam Preparation Tutorial Series Radiology Trainees in Sydney I organized and ran a series of regular mock examinations in my home on a weekly basis for Radiology examination candidates for almost 7 years, to help them prepare for the final viva voce and written reporting components of the examination.
1987-1997	Radiology Trainees Royal North Shore Hospital Tutorials and lectures to registrars in Radiology who are candidates for the FRACR Part II examination, as well as to resident medical staff and registrars from other specialties.
1989-1997	DRACR Part II Course Coppleson Postgraduate Institute, University of Sydney Annual lecture on musculoskeletal MRI to candidates for the Diploma of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists, as part of the course in Diagnostic Radiology (Part II).
1993-1996	Neonatal Nursing Course Royal North Shore Hospital Lectures in neonatal chest radiology and cranial ultrasound were given to subspecialist nurses
1990-1994	MRI Course Radiology Department, Royal North Shore Hospital RNSH Radiology Department ran a monthly course in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, given to radiologists from other centres from Australia and New Zealand. Lectures on MRI contrast media and special techniques.
