I founded this journal in 1990, with the first issue appearing in 1991. It is produced bimonthly and is owned by Sage Publications, Inc.. It has been provided as a membership benefit to members of the Society for Social Work and Research since 1997. RSWP had an impact factor of 1.13 in 2010, and has over 7200 institutional and individual subscribers, the second largest circulation social work journal in the world. It is a print journal, with full internet access to current and all back issues, and is also available as a web-based journal.
