BELIEFS RELATED TO SACRED PLACE TREES IN AZERBAIJAN
Summary
Cult of tree played an important role in the formation of mythical thinking in turkish mythology. Tree which is considered the beginning of the mythological world model still maintains its holy evaluation from ancient times, superior qualities, magical properties in regions. It shows itself in faith related to sacred place – godsends. In article maintaining of trust and faith related to tree in welfare and outlook of our people, role and position among society is investigated.
