TOFIG HAJIYEV AND “DEDE GORGUD”
Summary
In the article it is said about Tofig Hajiyev’s activity on the investigation branch of the eposes “The Book of Dede Gorgud” and including the scientific-organizational works in introducing this epos to us and the world more closely working as the chief of the department “Dede Gorgud” of the Institute of Folklore ANAS. Academician Tofig Hajiyev’s scientific investigations about “The Book of Dede Gorgud” have been reflected mainly in the collection of articles “Dede Gorgud kitabi”: tarikhimizin ilk yazili dersliyi” (“The Book of Dede Gorgud: the first text book of our history”) (Baku, Elm ve tehsil, 2014). In the article that collection of articles has been looked through and the main conclusions by Tofig Hajiyev about the epos “The Book of Dede Gorgud” have been analyzed and presented.
