The paper, which dealt with ID based cryptography for grid systems, was completed under the guidance of Dr. G. Sumathi, Prof & HOD, IT. The conference was sponsored by PESIT and co-sponsored by ISRO and Microsoft Research. 3) The students of this department have secured very good placements in various high profile companies. Our alumni who have gone on to distinguished careers as innovators in industry, living and working throughout the world, still have corporate and personal ties with the College through recruitment, mentoring, guest lectures, and other interactions.
