1 Background and general description of archives/ records program:
|
Monash University’s records program was established in 1990 within the Graduate School of Librarianship which was established in 1975. The primary concerns of the program include looking at methods of analysis which enable records to be controlled at different points in time throughout their lifespan. This includes the way records are represented, used, retrieved and disseminated. The program also looks at how continuum models apply to information management and data archiving.
