or other certificates on scientific, professional or artistic qualifications.
In the proposal the applicant shall specify the field within which the habilitation procedure is to be initiated, and submits the habilitation thesis.
(3)The habilitation thesis is defined as follows:
-
a thesis comprising new scientific knowledge, or
-
a collection of published scientific papers or technical papers supplemented with a commentary, or
-
a published monograph introducing new scientific knowledge, or
-
an artistic work or performance or a collection of these, e.g. an outstanding public artistic
activity.
(4)The proposal is submitted to the Dean of the faculty that is accredited in the pertinent field of habilitation, or the Rector, should the higher education institution be accredited in the pertinent field. Should there be insufficiencies in the proposal and the applicant fails to eliminate these in due term, the Dean or the Rector shall terminate the habilitation procedure.
(5)In case the habilitation procedure is not terminated as per subsection 4,
