7.7 Interfaculty cooperation – Faculty of Information Technology
Instruction is purchased from the FEEC (approx. 4 million CZK) and from the FBM (approx. 0,05 million CZK). On the other hand, instruction is provided for FBM (approx. 0,03 million CZK).
7.8 Interfaculty cooperation – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
Instruction – apart from the already mentioned cooperation with the Faculty of Chemistry providing instruction in chemistry and chemical engineering Further cooperation is as follows:
1. Interfaculty study area Mechatronics (Bachelor´s and Master´s study programme): FME provides instruction together with FEEC (the share of FME is larger)
2. A joint study area Engineering technology and industrial management. Some subjects are taught by FBM.
3. FBM provides instruction for FME in optional economic subjects. A preliminary agreement was made between the two faculties on 1 April 2005 that students of FME can join FBM´s students in courses offered at FBM.
4. FME provides language courses for FBM.
Research – the Faculty of Mechanical Enginering has had extensive cooperation with other BUT faculties:
-
Doctoral programme
Academic staff of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering tutor postgraduate students of FEEC, FCH, FCE and FBM. On the other hand, academics from these faculties are tutors-specialists of FME´s postgraduates. This cooperation concerns approx. 30 doctoral students.
