Article 9
Requirements for the procedure for the appoinment of a professor at a faculty of the Brno University of Technology
1. The procedure is defined in Article 74 of Act 111/1998 Coll.
2.The procedure for the appointment of a professor at a meeting of the Scientific Board comprises:
a) election of vote-counters
b) presentation of the applicant by the Dean or an authorised Vice-Dean
c)presentation of written statements of professors as per Article 74, subsection 2 of the Act
d)presentation of the proposal of the Evaluation Board by the Chair or a member of the Board authorised by the Chair
e)lecture – presentation and debate
f)voting by ballot of members of the Scientific Board
g)making the result of the procedure public immediately after the meeting
3.A proposal in writing of the Evaluation Board presented to the Scientific Board, containing the resolution of the board, date and time of the meeting, list of the members present, result of voting and substantiation of the proposal, comments on the topic of the lecture in the Scientific Board of the faculty and in the Scientific Board of the university, signed by the members of the Board after the voting, will constitute an amendment to the minutes of the meeting of the Scientific Board.
