“Biopolymerizations: biotechnological pathways towards new functional momomers, polymers and material applications”

This European Polymer Federation Workshop devoted to Biopolymerizations will be organized at the campus of Paris-Jussieu, under the auspices of Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC), of Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule-Aachen (RWTH), and of Groupe Français des Polymères (GFP)-Section Ile de France.
Its format, as was that of the previous Paris EPF Workshops every year since 1999, will be different from conventional meetings. Its objective is to develop thorough discussions about both upstream and downstream aspects of the domain, initiated by a limited number of tutorials and up to date overviews. Every 40 min lecture will be followed by a 20 min discussion, based on pre-written questions submitted by participants. These questions may be supported by 1-2 transparencies and short comments. A permanent poster presentation will be available.
This meeting will be informal, with no registration fee, but the audience will be limited to about 100 attendees. The participants will have to manage by themselves for food and lodging. A list of low/mid-cost hotels in the surroundings will be provided upon request.
