Students first work in pairs to write a list of the kinds of 
technology in their school. Elicit ideas and write them 
on the board (possible ideas: 
interactive whiteboards, a 
computer suite, headphones, laptops, internet access
).
• 
Students then ask and answer about each kind of 
technology, using the first question in the box.
• 
Elicit ideas of kinds of technology students would like to 
have in school and have a class vote on which kind of 
technology is the most popular (possible ideas: tablets, 
virtual teaching sessions, homework website, student 
portals). Ask whether students would like to have a 
virtual teacher and encourage students to give reasons 
for their answers.
