Share success with your friends
. Explain 
the meaning of 
success 
and elicit the meaning of the 
whole phrase. Ask which character in the story shares 
success with friends (
Sofia – she says that the prize she 
won is for her friends because they helped her win
).
• 
Ask students to think about successes they’ve had in their 
lives that they’ve shared with friends or family, e.g., team 
games or competitions they’ve won, thanks to not only 
their own efforts but also those of the friends on their 
team, sports prizes that their parents have helped them 
with (by taking them to training sessions and supporting 
them at games).
