Ask students to find words in the story
that are
connected with thinking:
understand, remember, know, guess. •
Ask students to think about ways they use logic in their
everyday lives, e.g., to solve puzzles, to figure out why
someone is acting in a particular way, to predict the
consequences of their actions. Ask students who’s the
most logical person in their family.
