Minerals and vitamins. Milk is rich in many nutrients that are essential for good health, for stronger bones (Calcium, Vitamin D, Phosphorous), for more energy (B vitamins), for a stronger immune system and for healthier skin (Vitamin A)
Fats in milk constitute essential fatty acids which are important for body cells, as long as they are taken in moderate quantities.
Dairy products are foods that are made from animal milk. Usually, they are made from the milk of cows and goats, but they can be made from the milk of other animals as well. Dairy products include milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, curd, custard, buttermilk, ice cream, etc.
Butter is a dairy product. It is made by churning fresh or fermented cream or whole milk for a long time. The fat in the milk separates from the liquid. The fat is butter. Butter is often eaten on bread, as a main ingredient in biscuits, as a shortening agent in some baking and cooking recipes, and for frying foods.
Cheese is milk made into a solid form that is edible. These include the milk, if the milk has been pasteurized, the amount of butterfat, bacteria and mold in the cheese, how the cheese is made, how much fat is in the cheese, and how old the cheese is.
Yogurt, or yoghurt is a milk product made by bacterial fermentation of milk. Yogurt is one of the oldest produced food in human history. Today, it is eaten all over the world. It is rich in protein, calcium, riboflavin, B vitamins.
Ice cream is a frozen dessert made from cream, with added flavors and sweeteners. This mixture is quickly frozen while it is stirred, so that large ice crystals do not form. Some ice cream is made with carrageenan, a gum found in seaweed so that it is not sticky.
