Kabita Deka, a 6th semester student of the department has been awarded Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under the scheme Innovation in Science Pursuit for the period starting in 2011. The scholarship, funded by DST (GOI), of Rs. 80,000/- per annum will be availed for 5 years.
The institute feels honoured as Kabita Deka is encouraged by Rs 2000/- cash by Prof. S. Pattanayak, Ex Director, Institute of Mathematical Science and Application, Bhubaneswar, Govt. of India.
