WELCOME SESSION
(administrative enrollment)
COMPULSORY for foreign exchange students or Double Diploma (except for students in 5th year and internships). Otherwise, students won’t be immediately enrolled at INSA.
After being administratively enrolled, students shall contact their academic coordinator to discuss the courses and timetables. Contact our coordinators as soon as you arrive.

Health insurance requirements and costs
Do you required students to have a health insurance?
YES it’s compulsory if you stay more than 3 months AND if you don’t have the European card of health insurance. In this case, students must take the insurance during the Welcome Session. (215 € in 2017/2018).
In addition, students must subscribe while being in their home country an International Medical Health Insurance (step 3-explanation form)translated into French or English. This insurance shall be valid:
until August 31st if the student arrives in July or August OR
until the 1st day of the month following his/her arrival (Ex: if he/she arrive on October 4th, valid until November 1st)
Accommodation
The International Office (DRI) of INSA Toulouse does not manage the booking the accommodation any longer: students have find it and book it by themselves.
We provide information and a list of accommodations to help students.
Students can also contact the Toul’box service to help them find an accommodation (“All-in” Package – 200€ in 2017/2018)
Visa
See the French embassy website of the home country. To ask an accommodation help, students have to obtain a ‘visa étudiant long séjour – type D’
Proof of sufficient means
Amount of money required by French embassy : 600 €/month
Cost of Living
180-450 € per month for lodging, 200-300 € per month approx. for food, 150-300 € per month for personal expenses, studies and transport.
