D2 Minutes of the meeting of Bucharest, 23/28 July 2006

Dear all,

During the Best Event in Bucharest (23/28 July 2006), Cristian PERRA and Hamed YAHOUI have participated to the meeting as the representatives of the EIE-Surveyor and as teachers in EIE field. Some Colleagues from the MASSIVE and REVE projects were present to deal with the subject of Virtual Mobilty. The first day was dedicated to the presentation of Best and the participants. During the day 2 and 3 the discussion was focused on the virtual Mobility, the representative of MASSIVE and REVE have presented the software that they have designed to help the constitution of a virtual mobility between a set of universities. For the last day, a discussion about the student Mobility has been organized with the following schedule:

*During the discussion we have split the group in two in order to animate the debate with the following facilitator questions:

QUALITY

- What’s mean for you the harmonisation of curricula degree at European University Level?

- What could be for you the main characteristics of the quality in European Education Area?

- What could be the concrete actions that the European community can take to achieve this European Education Area?
MOBILITY

- If you plan to make mobility, what will be the more interesting destination for you (a European country destination or a third country destination (USA, Australia Etc?)

- What are the most problematic aspects for a mobility abroad?
QUESTIONNAIRE

We want to provide a new tool to facilitate the preparation of a mobility inside Europe

The tool is a Web portal where all the Master in Europe (in the spirit of the Bologna process) will be presented and the exact contents of the master will be available.

What could be for you the main advantages of this kind of tool?

We have provided a questionnaire to understand the problem from the point of view of the student; do you have some subjection to improve it?
