Atlantic recording group Portugal. The Man has released their new album, “EVIL FRIENDS.” The collection – produced by five-time GRAMMY® Award winner Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, The Black Keys, Sparklehorse) – is available now in stores and at all online retailers.

Portugal. The Man will celebrate the arrival of “EVIL FRIENDS” tomorrow night with an appearance on the June 5^th installment of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, set for 12:35/11:35C (check local listings). What’s more, the band’s recent performance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! can be viewed now at YouTube’s official Jimmy Kimmel Live Music Channel – the band’s new single, “Purple Yellow Red and Blue,” can be seen at www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6ZLi4X7VJw, while a bonus live rendition of 2009’s breakthrough smash, “People Say,” is streaming at www.youtube.com/watch?v=dllMzQTnNxY.

“Purple Yellow Red and Blue” debuted this week on the Mediabase Alternative Chart and the Billboard Modern Rock chart. Stations leading the charge include KROQ of Los Angeles, San Francisco’s Live 105, KNRK of Portland, Seattle’s KNDD, San Diego’s KBZT, Kansas City’s KRBZ, and WLUM of Milwaukee.

“Purple Yellow Red and Blue” is but one of three new videos from “EVIL FRIENDS” currently streaming at Portugal. The Man’s official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/portugalthemanband. The clips – which also include “Atomic Man” and the album’s stunning title track – see the band collaborating with directors That Go (Noel Paul & Stefan Moore), known for their work with Bat For Lashes and Röyksopp; photographer David Vincent Wolf (Sigur Rós); and cinematographer Michael Ragen (Spiritualized, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys).

Portugal. The Man recently embarked on a major North American headline tour, set to continue through a July 18^th homecoming concert at Portland, Oregon’s Crystal Ballroom (see attached itinerary). In addition, the band will appear at a number of upcoming summer festivals, including The Governor’s Ball Music Festival on New York City’s Randall’s Island (slated for this Sunday, June 9^th) and Manchester, Tennessee’s world famous Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (Saturday, June 15). The festival sets come hot on the heels of recent P.TM performances at such annual events as Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and the inaugural Boston Calling Music Festival.

Following the U.S. tour, P.TM will travel to festivals in Australia (Byron Bay’s Splendour In The Grass on July 26^th) and Japan (Fuji Rock 2013 in Niigata Prefecture). In September, the band will embark on a European headline trek, with dates slated for the Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, and the United Kingdom. With Danger Mouse at the helm, the Portland, Oregon-based band has created a collection that truly captures the remarkable scope and power of frontman John Gourley’s vision.

In addition, P.TM recently joined forces with Danger Mouse and UK-based artist INSA for “All The Feels” presented by Tumblr Music, an audio-visual immersion at Los Angeles’ LAB ART Gallery. The show highlighted artwork by Gourley in his collaboration with graphic designer Austin Sellers as The Fantastic The.
