In most NS, dues are considered part of the overall NS budget. However, in some cases, contributions are made directly for this purpose. What is worth noting is that through the twinning programme, some NS help others financially: The Dutch Section has regularly helped Uruguay with dues, and USBBY has paid membership dues for the IBBY sections in Lebanon and Palestine in 2007 and 2008, IBBY Haiti in 2008, and has helped IBBY South Africa by paying part of their dues in 2007 and 2008.
