From The Head Teacher
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullah
It is great to see the children settling in alhamdulillah. Today, we had our first House session when children met with others from different year groups and held a ‘House’ council. Democracy is taking roots!
We have continued talking about humility in our tarbiyyah sessions, our assemblies, and after salat.
Aya of the week
Remember your Lord in your heart with humility and awe, and without speaking loudly, in mornings and evenings, and do not be among the heedless. (Suratul A’raf:205)
Hadith of the Week
The messenger of Allah (SAWS) stated: “Verily, Allah has revealed to me that you must be humble towards one another, so that no one wrongs another or boasts to another.” (Sahih Muslim)

From The Administration Manager
Assalamu’alaikum wa Rahmatullah
Alhamdulillah we are almost half way through the first half term and we have many exciting activities and events that the children can partake in. Suffah School is participating in the ‘Beat the Street’ Initiative run by Intelligent Health and all students will have received a pack earlier this week to help them get started in this exciting and healthy activity.
We also have our annual Scholastics Book Fair coming up in the next few weeks, so do look out for emails regarding this Insha’Allah.
I would also like to remind all parents to send in any changes to their contact details or their child’s health as soon as you are made aware. It is essential that the School has the correct details of your child and their medical history and any medication they may take, in case of any emergency.
Jazzak Allah Khayre for your continuous support and cooperation.
